Mrs. Kerri A. Klatka
Mrs. Kerri A. Klatka, wife, mother, daughter and sister, 40, of Tamaqua, died unexpectedly upon arrival Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale.
She worked for 20-plus years at IWCO Direct, Hamburg, as a human resources generalist.Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Shirley (Davis) Valentine of Tamaqua, and the late James E. Valentine, who died Dec. 9, 2004.
- She is survived by her husband and childhood sweetheart, Mark A. Klatka.
A 1990 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, she matriculated to the McCann School of Business.
She enjoyed decorating her home, crocheting, and her animals.
The deceased was a member of St. John U.C.C., Tamaqua
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a daughter, Alexis M., and a son, Adam A., both at home; a sister Vicki of Tamaqua; two brothers, James E, and his wife, Allison, of Lehighton, and Zachary J. of Colonia, N.J.; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Theresa Klatka of Quakake; and many niecs and nephews.
Service: Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, with the Rev. Kevin Duffy-Guy officiating.
