Leonard S. Wildermuth
Leonard "Buster" Wildermuth, 79, passed away on March 18, 2014, in Norfolk, Virginia, where he resided.
Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Aaron P. Wildermuth and Genevieve M. Wildermuth-Shimko.
He was a Navy veteran having served in the Korean War. He was employed by Knowlton Twp., N.J., as a law enforcement officer, by the Star-Gazette and Laneco Superstore.
He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by a daughter Sylvia Lynn, and four sons, Scott Werkheiser and Timothy, Steven, and Daniel Wildermuth; two sisters, Phyllis Dotter of Kunkletown and Paulette, wife of Ronald Cebrosky of Palmerton; and a brother Richard, and wife Cheryl, of Lehighton.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow "Woody" and Aaron "Sonny" Wildermuth.
Service: A private graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675 or the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH, 45250.
