Mrs. Lucille A. Taschler
Mrs. Lucille E. Taschler, 84, of Covered Bridge Road, Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, died early Sunday morning, Jan. 19, in the Blue Mountain Health System's Palmerton Campus. She was the wife of Michael S. Taschler.
She was a machine operator for the former Scotty's Fashions Co., Little Gap.
Born in Little Gap, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Sarah (Bonser) Shook.
She attended Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trachsville.
Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Debbie Green of Forest Inn; six sons, Louis, and his wife, Candace, and Michael, and his wife, Belinda, both of Palmerton, Bernard of Packerton, Joseph of Moline, Ill., Peter, and his wife, Karen, of Jemison, Ala., and Mark, and his wife, Karen, of Lansford; a sister, Dorothy Ahner of Lehighton; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Shuck.
Service: Funeral service 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, with the Rev. Brian R. Holben officiating. Interment, private. Call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Contributions in her name may be made to the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the
