Mary M. Boyle
Mary M. Boyle, 84, of Gay Street, Tamaqua, died Tuesday in Bethlehem. She was the widow of Donald J. Boyle, who died in 1971.
Prior to retiring she worked in various local garment factories while also working as a cashier at the former Hometown IGA.
Born in Minersville, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Molly (Ryan) Laudeman.
She was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Tamaqua, where she was a former member of the Catholic Women's Education Association and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
A graduate of the former Pottsville Catholic High School, she was an avid follower of her grandchildren's sporting events and was a Notre Dame fan.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Louise, wife of Joseph Gnall of Whitehall, and Kathy, wife of George Semko Jr. of Tamaqua, where Mary resided; a son, William Boyle of Tamaqua; grandchildren, Lisa Brayford, Jennefer, wife of Paul Clifford, Scott Semko, and his wife, Dawn, Joseph B. Gnall, and Michael K. Gnall; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William and David Laudeman.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua. Interment, parish cemetery, Tamaqua.
