Mary T. Nardozzi, 83, of 147 E. Columbus Ave., Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Nov. 9, in the Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hometown.
She worked in area garment factories for many years and then was employed by the former Hi-Lo Pharmacy and the CVS Pharmacy, both of Nesquehoning, before retiring. She also worked for the former Cerimele's Catering, Nesquehoning.
Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Mele) Nardozzi.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, and was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Columbus Fire Company, Nesquehoning.
Surviving are a brother, James J., and his wife, Eleanor, and a sister Lucy, wife of Leon Cook, both of Nesquehoning; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Louis, Michael, Daniel and Joseph; and two sisters, Emily Turrano and Anna Derkosh.
Service: Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 W. Center St., Nesquehoning; Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, with the Rev. Francis P. Schoenaurer and Msgr. John McCann officiating. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Call 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
