Nancy J. Yorke

Mrs. Nancy J. Yorke, 68, of East Broad Street, Tamaqua, died Sunday, Dec. 30, in her home, surrounded by her children while in care of her family. She was the widow of Thomas J. Yorke, who died Nov. 13, 1981.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Michael Tepo and Josephine (Koller) Tepo-Vogel.
She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua, and was a 1962 graduate of Tamaqua High School.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie, wife of Matthew Barnisky, and State Trooper Shannon Yorke, both of Tamaqua; a son, Patrick T., and his life partner, Wendy Thomma, of Northampton; a sister, Joan A., wife of Earl Billig of Tamaqua; a brother Michael, and his wife, Jean, of Allentown; and 10 grandchildren, Marissa, Sarah, Thomas, Devin, Ryan, Matthew, Zachary, Jake, Joshua and Daniel
Service: Mass of Christian Burial noon Friday, Jan. 4, St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua. Interment, parish cemetery, Tamaqua. Call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, E.
