Nevin P. Farber, 91, of Bowmanstown, died suddenly Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Mary D. (Davis) Farber.
He worked in the test laboratory of the former New Jersey Zinc Company, Palmerton, for more than 30 years.
Born in Carbon County, he was raised by his late grandparents, Erwin and Elmira (Krill) Farber.
An Army veteran of World War II, Nevin served in the European Theater with the 153rd Field Artillery Battalion.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bowmanstown, where he was very active in church life.
Surviving are a sister, Anna Butrie of Lehighton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by a sister, Charlotte Grow.
