Norman L. Krapf

Norman L. Krapf, 89, of Tamaqua, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, in his residence. He was the husband of the late Erla (Martin) Krapf.
He was employed by the former Atlas Powder Co., Reynolds, for 43 years, and also owned the former People Taxi Service.
Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late John A. and Amanda (Keller) Krapf.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Tamaqua.
Krapf was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are daughters, Ruthann Feane of Tamaqua, Carolyn, wife of Walter L. Henne of Slatington, and Sandra, wife of Joseph A. Kraipovich of Coaldale; sons, Larry of Tamaqua, Kenneth, and his wife, Anne, of Oswego, N.Y., Walter, and his wife, Patti, of Bayville, N.J., and Leonard, and his wife, DeAnn, of Jackson, Miss.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was the last of 14 children.
