Peter Pagotto, 98, of Lehigh Township, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Smith) Pagotto.
Born in Danielsville, he was the son of the late Frank and Marie (Bornancin) Pagotto.
He was employed as a farmer for many years, and he also worked at Keystone Cement in Bath for 30 years, retiring in 1977.
He served his country in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Lehigh Township Historical Society and was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Palmerton.
Surviving are a daughter, Sarah L. Pagotto of Danielsville; and a sister, Mrs. Rose Fritz of Danielsville. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by brothers, Bruno, Louis and Leo; and sisters, Mary Masut and Ella Vanzella.
Services: Funeral services 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at the Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, with the Rev. Jody L. Neifert officiating. Interment will follow in Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church memorial fund or to the Lehigh Township Historical Society, both care of the funeral home.
