Peter Steciuk, 94, of Sandy Court, New Tripoli, Lynn Township, died Monday evening, Jan. 13, in his home.
He was the husband of Adol-fina (Luchka) Steciuk since Oct. 19, 1941.
He had worked in the maintenance/custodial department of the East Meadow School District, Long Island, N.Y.Born in Ternopil, Hnylychky, the Ukraine, he was a son of the late Prkep and Maria Steciuk.
He was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton.
After retiring, he and his wife enjoyed dancing and taking lessons.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two nieces, Maria Sobutska of Hnylychky and Zenovia Perih of Potytory, the Ukraine; a nephew, Oleh Nakonechney of Ternopil; and two cousins, Francis Nadolny of Lutz, Fla., and Mickey Quigley of Pensacola, Fla.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter Irena.
Service: Divine Liturgy 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton, with the Rev. Evhen Moniuk officiating. Interment, parish's Upper Cemetery, Palmerton.
