Richard J. Heyer, 55, Arlington Street, Tamaqua, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 31, 2014, at home.
Born in Allentown July 13, 1959, he was the son of the late Lester and Annabel (Lohrman) Heyer. He was a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh School District, and worked in quality control for Universal Trailer, McAdoo, for 13 years.
He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and farming.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy A. (Boger) Heyer; two daughters, Tara L. Heyer, Tamaqua and Nicole L. Heyer, Denton, TX; one son, Bryan R. Heyer, Tamaqua; two sisters, Harriet Weimert, wife of Kenny, Orefield and Lois Gift, Adamstown; two brothers, Henry Heyer, Fleetwood and Clarence Heyer and his wife Linda, Kutztown.
Service: A celebration of Richard's life will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua.
