Ronald C. Breiner Sr., 71, of 61 S. Tippets Rd., Nesquehoning passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of Grace (Middlecamp) Breiner. They had celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past June 22.
Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late Carl and Helen (Heffelfinger) Breiner.
He was a graduate of Summit Hill High School, Class of 1958.
Ron was a U.S. Navy
veteran, serving from 1958-1961.
He had worked and retired from the American Nickeloid Co. in Walnutport as a Slitter Operator.
He was a member of the former St. Paul's UCC Church in Summit Hill. Ron was a member of the Summit Hill American Legion.
Surviving along with his wife are sons, Ronald Breiner Jr. of Lansford, Richard Breiner, and his wife Holly, of Palmerton, and Robert Breiner, and his wife Stacey, of Fleetwood; a daughter, Rhondella Weaver, and her husband Michael, of Nesquehoning; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; sisters, Jean Vitek, and her husband John, of Northampton, and Carla Miller, and her husband Bill, of Potter County; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Orville and Larry. Service:
is on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. from the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, with the Rev. Walter Breiner officiating. Military interment will follow at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
