Sara Fay Baum

Mrs. Sara Fay Baum, 78, of Tamaqua, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, in St. Luke's Hospital, Coaldale. She was the widow of Raymond Baum; and was a daughter of the late Earl and Hannah Beltz.
Prior to retiring she worked at Tung-Sol, a division of Wagner Electric, and Regis Inventory. She was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
She was a Sunday School teacher for many years at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Quakake, and she was of the Protestant faith.
She enjoyed traveling and the outdoors. She left behind two beloved cats, Bret and Bart; and she also loved McDonald's McRibs and Tom Selleck.
Surviving are brothers, Richard Beltz, of Quakake, and Lowell Beltz, of Hazleton; also surviving are nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Melvin Beltz and Edward Beltz.
Service: On Saturday at 11 a.m., Lamar Christ Funeral Home, Hometown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, with Rev. Janet Kline officiating.
