Mrs. Stella M. Behler, 93, of North Second Street, Lehighton, formerly of Bowmanstown, died Tuesday, April 9, in her home, surrounded by her family.
- She was the widow of John C.E. Behler, who passed away in 1982.
She was a machine operator for the former Scotty's Fashions Co., Lehighton, and later retired from the former Pam's Sportswear Co., Weissport.Born in West Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles C. and Katie L. (Fenstermaker) Snyder.
She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bowmanstown, and the I.L.G.W.U.
Surviving are five daughters, Joan A. Hochberg, Maryann S., wife of Melvin Muffley, Violet R., wife of Lawrence Solt, and Jean M., wife of Earl Reabold, all of Lehighton, and Sandra J., wife of Walter Serfass of Bowmanstown; 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by daughter, Marion Beidleman, who died in 1998; three sisters and three brothers. Service:
