Mrs. Victoria Poshefko
Mrs. Victoria A. Poshefko, 93, of Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning, formerly of Lansford, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Aug. 21, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Ernest Poshefko.
She worked for the former Bright's Department store, Lansford and Lehighton.
Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Uhrinek) Stricek.
She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, formerly St. Michael's, and was a past member of the church baking crew.
She was also a member of the PTA of the former St. Michael's Catholic School, Lansford.
Victoria loved baking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son Richard, and his wife, Karen, of Emmaus; a daughter, Rita Jean, wife of Ronald Mantz of Nesquehoning; a sister, Mary Labosky of Lansford; three grandchildren, Lisa Mantz, Dana Brubaker and Gregg Mantz; five great-grandchildren, Tayler Paton, Yusuf and Aliya Baig and Sophie and Grayson Mantz; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother Peter; and a sister, Matilda Dvorsky.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, with the Rev. Kenneth Medve officiating. Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
