Vincent C. Borzuku

Vincent C. "Vinny" Borzuku, 47, of Mahoning Township, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 3, in his home.
Born in Newark, N.J., he was a son of Gail Richards of Walnutport and the late Christopher Borzuku.
He grew up in Spotswood, N.J. After graduating from high school, he traveled extensively.
Vinny's very presence could light up a room. His sense of humor could lighten your mood and his kindness could make life seem better.
He loved music, especially The Grateful Dead, and traveled with them for a number of years. He himself was a musician and played guitar, piano and organ.
He was a very loving man whose family meant so much to him. His handsome face, his intelligence, his quick wit and his compassion will be greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his maternal grandmother, Ruth Richards of Mahoning Township; a daughter Acacia of Walnutport; a son, Canyon Smith of Eugene, Ore.; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was also predeceased by a brother William.
