Vincent J. Keip
Vincent J. Keip, 77, of Brockton, entered into eternal rest on Monday, Aug. 11, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Florence (Oler) Keip. They were married for 58 years.
He was a presser for 43 years for the former State Manufacturing, New Philadelphia, before retiring.
Born in Brockton, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Sockel) Keip.
He was a member of the former St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Brockton.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Vince, and his wife, Anna, of Fredericksburg, Va., and James, and his wife, Mary Jane, of Mahanoy City; two daughters, Beverly, wife of Jim Curvey of Brockton, and Brenda, wife of James Hoffman of Saluda, Va.; four brothers, David and Michael, both of Tamaqua, Frank of Minersville and Bartholomew of Lancaster; and five sisters, Martha Kutula and Anna Wenzel, both of Pottsville, Theresa Geison in New Jersey, Margaret Christ of New Philadelphia and Cecelia Rusnak of Summit Hill; seven grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, John, Joseph, Jerome and Paul; and six sisters, Veronica Bell, Victoria Bell, Bertha Suder, Dorothy Deitrick, Isabelle Zelnick and Marie Benyacker.
