Mrs. Violet E. Brobst, 81, of 47 Hartranft Lane, Lehighton, passed into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday, April 3, in her residence. She was the widow of Horace L. Brobst, who died Feb. 14, 2005.
Prior to retiring, she was a sewing machine operator for the former West Bow Manufacturing.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Sally (Lentz) Bierman.She attended services at Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She loved to garden, sew and spend quality time with her family and her pet dog "Chamie."
Surviving are two daughters, Susan A. Dietz of Lehighton and Linda S., wife of Tony Rosencrance of Walnutport; a sister Shirley, wife of Franklin McFarland of Slatington; three grandchildren, Jessica MacKinney, Ricky Andrew and Shelby Dietz; two great-grandchildren, Kyla MacKinney and Andy Andrew; and two nephews.
She was also predeceased by a daughter, Sally A. Andrew.
Service: Private funeral service and interment at convenience of family. Contributions in her name may be made to the , Wilkes-Barre Pa.
