William N. Sabath, husband, father, and grandfather, 78, of Kepners Road, New Ringgold, died suddenly Monday, Dec. 3, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Margaret G. (Gisler) Sabath. They were married for 48 years.
He retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, having worked as a power house engineer at the Eastern State School and Hospital, Trevose, for 25 years.
Born in Phialdelphia, he was a son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Schulburger) Sabath.
A graduate of North East Catholic High School, Philadelphia, he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War
An outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and maintained memberships in the N.R.A, West Penn Rod and Gun Club and Ontelaunee Hunt and Fish Club.
A 32nd degree mason, he was a member of the Apollo Kensington Lodge No. 211 and Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Pamela C. Binder of Andreas; a sister, Barbara Kaufmann of Doylestown; two grandchildren, Joseph W. and Kyle John Binder; and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Vile; and a brother Michael. Service:
