George J. Palumbo, 69, of Effort, died Wednesday, Oct. 24. He was the husband of Cheryl (Evans) Palumbo.
He had been a truck driver for 46 years.
Born in West Chester, he was a son of the late George J. and Frances (Byrd) Polumbo.
Surviving in addition to his widow are four sons, Eric and George III, both of Coatesville, Kevin of Ephrata and Vincent of Stroudsburg; a stepson, Dr. Scott D. Muthard of Effort; and five grandchildren.
