Mrs. Betty Jean Strohl|
Mrs. Betty Jean Strohl, 83, of 174 Chestnut St., Packerton, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in her residence. She was the widow of Miles D. Strohl.
Prior to retiring, she was employed at the former Pam's Sportswear as a garment/millworker.
Born in Mahoning Township, she was a daughter of the late Jerome E. and Sophia M. (Hartman) Reigel.
She attended Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Packerton.
In her spare time, she loved to crochet, travel and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry "Buddy," and his wife, Deborah, Danny, and his wife, Wanda, of Packerton, and Chris, and his wife, Kathy, of Lehighton; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Scott.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, Fourth and Iron streets, Lehighton, with the Rev. Ernest Diefenderfer officiating. Interment, Packerton Cemetery. Call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. Contributions in her name may be made to the
