Charlotte Ann Gehring|
Charlotte Ann Gehring, 67, of 13 E. White St., Summit Hill, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Carl O. Gehring. They had celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this past Sept. 18.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Henry C. and Mary (Hoffa) Reiber.
She was a graduate of Tamaqua High School, Class of 1964.
She worked as a residential care advisor for the RedCo. Home in Nesquehoning.
Charlotte was a member of the former St. Paul's United Church of Christ Church in Summit Hill.
Surviving, along with her husband, is a son, Rodger Gehring, and his wife Lisa, of Schuylkill Haven; a daughter, Maryellen Yanchura, and her husband John, of Nesquehoning; grandchildren, Preston Gehring, Alexis Gehring, Nicole Eckert, Ryan Yanchura, Aaron Yanchura, and Noah Yanchura; a brother, Harry J. Reiber; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Corine Boerner, Lillian Deebel, and Donna Reiber.
Service: is on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, with the Rev. Kris Perry officiating. Interment will follow at G.A.R. Cemetery, Summit Hill. Call, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.
