Conchita Garcia, 91, formerly of Palmerton, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Emilio Garcia, who passed in 1967.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Benlgna (Gonzalez) Lopez.
She attended Trinity EC Church, and was a proud member of the Palmerton Historical Society.She enjoyed scrapbooking and preparing meals for the family.
- Conchita retired as an outpatient clerk in the Palmerton Hospital for over 16 years retiring in 1984.
Surviving are daughters Cynthia M., wife of Kenneth Yoxheimer, with whom she resided, Frances M. Rapone, of Avon, N.Y., and Florence Garcia, of Palmerton; sons, Anthony, and his wife, Linda, of Elmira, N.Y., and Edward, and his wife Sharon, of Zionsville; eight grandchildren, Aaron, Joshua, Teresa, Ashley, Katina, Holly, Anthony, and Ben;, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Maria Lopez; and brothers, Manuel Lopez and Manuel Lolo Lopez.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Champton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Interment, 11 a.m. Friday, Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington, N.J.
