Elizabeth Hallman Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Hallman, 92, of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, April 27. She was the widow of Donald J. Hallman.
She was a secretary for Mack Trucks, and later was a secretary and bookkeeper for Lehigh Associate, Inc.
Born in Weissport, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Franklin and Ruth (Arner) Barry.She was a National Honor Society graduate of Lehighton High School and a member of Seibert E.C. Church, where she sang in the choir for 50 years.
Mrs. Hallman served on the board of the Community Concert of Allentown and the Allentown Music Club, and was active in the Allentown Symphony and Music Club Singers.
She volunteered at the Parkland Community Library and enjoyed family, church, travel, gardening, playing piano, golf and concerts.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna R. Johnson; a son, Barry D. Hallman; three grandchildren, Dane A. Johnson, Matthew D. Hallman and Keri M. Saul; four great- grandchildren, Caitlin, Lindsey, Lucas and Casey; two sisters, LaRue Harleman of Lehighton and Joan Richmond of Walnutport; a brother Glenn of Lehighton, and 22 nieces and nephews.
Service: Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Interment, Arlington Cemetery, Whitehaall. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday.
