Eugenia Jean L. (Sebelin) Pathroff, of Lehighton, Mahoning Township, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in the Blue Mountain Health Systems Gnaden Huetten Campus-Lehighton. She was the widow of Michael Pathroff, who passed away on July 11, 2000.
She and her husband were the owners and operators of Mary Carter Paints and Sporting Goods in Lehighton and Lansford for many years before retiring in the mid 1980s. She also bought and sold antiques during that time and into the present time.She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton.
- Born in East Mauch Chunk, on Feb. 8, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Shubek) Sebelin.
She was a member of the Germantown Fishing Club and enjoyed listening to rock music.
She will be truly missed by her family..."We love you gram."
Surviving are her daughters Diane Sniscak, and her husband, Gregory, Lake Hauto, and Suzanne McLean, and her husband, Daniel, Lehighton, Mahoning Township; sons Michael Jr., and his wife Diane (Klotz) Pathroff, and Robert, both of Lehighton, Mahoning Township; sisters Irene Serignese of Nesquehoning, Theresa Steidle, of Pitman, N.J., and Joann Stehle, of Jim Thorpe; brother, Francis "Frank" Sebelin, and his wife, Cecelia, of Jim Thorpe; five grandchildren, Melissa, Gregory, Daniel, Joseph, and Amanda; six great-grandchildren, Navaeh, Peyton, Tyler, Victoria, Caleb, and Jude.
Service: Graveside memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Lehighton, at 10 a.m. There are no calling hours. The David J. Stianche Funeral Home, 123 Center St., Jim Thorpe, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.stianchefh.com.
