Francis M. "Spirit" Inama, husband, father, son and brother, 54, of Lake Hauto, died Tuesday, March 19, upon arrival at the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale.

Fran, known as Frank to many friends and co-workers, is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Kathy (Lane) Inama.
Upon graduation, he worked at the former Zapata Manufacturing, J.E. Morgan Knitting, and, most recently, at Air Products & Chemicals in the Hometown plant. His co-workers will remember him as a hard-working and talented mechanic. A devoted father, he was a youth softball and soccer coach and guided the successful athletic careers of his two daughters.
- A 1977 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, he was a standout football player and track athlete.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Dorothy (Connelly) Inama of Brockton, and the late Francis "Spirit" Inama, who died on March 12, 2004.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two daughters, Nicole Inama, PharmD, and Megan Inama, and her fiancé, Mark Streisel, both of Tamaqua; two sisters, Deborah A., wife of Allen Wertman of Brockton, and Diane M., wife of Jacob Throne of Orwigsburg; and many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.
