Francis "Frank" Pasdon, 66, of Penn Forest Township, Jim Thorpe, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Marion (Bley) Pasdon. They celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on Aug. 16.

He was the owner and operator of the Jim Thorpe Market and a partner of the White Haven Market and the Plymouth Hometown Market.
Born in West Hazleton, he was a son of the late Agnes Pasdon.
He was a 1964 graduate of the former West Hazleton High School and had attended Penn State University.
Pasdon was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Parish, West Hazleton.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Mark, and his wife, Lori (Greenblatt), of White Plains, N.Y.; a daughter, Rebecca Pasdon, and her husband, James Duncklee, of Philadelphia; and three grandchildren, Emma and Lucas Cornfield and Nicholas William Duncklee.
Service: Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, St. John Lutheran Church, Sixth and North streets, Jim Thorpe, with Jane Mason, Diaconal Minister ELCA, officiating. Military honors will follow. Call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Edward F. Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe. Interment will be private.
