Sgt. Frank Yale|
Sgt. Frank Yale, 82, of Palmerton, passed away Tuesday, June 4, in Naples, Fla. He was the husband of Eleanor Yale.
Yale attended Millersville College, Lancaster.He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Association and a former 33rd degree member of the Masons.
- He served in the Pennsylvania State Police for 34 years, retiring as a sergeant.
The deceased had belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and the Knights of Columbus.
His hobbies included hunting, archery, ping-pong and weightlifting. He spent most of his retirement years becoming a competitive billiard player. He loved reading about politics and studying World War II history.
Surviving in addition to his beloved wife are a a daughter, Dr. Karen Yale; a son-in-law, Dr. Gary Gendron; and two grandchildren, Drew and Victoria.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
