Harry W. Billman|
Harry W. Billman, 63, of Plains, Pa., passed away Friday, Nov. 22, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was the husband of Annie (Reese) Billman. They were married for 12 years.
He was self-employed as an owner/operator truck driver.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank and Viola (Nothstein) Billman.
He was a 1968 graduate of Lehighton High School, received an associate degree at Lehigh County Community College, and earned a bachelor's degree at East Stroudsburg University.
Billman was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Hart.
Surviving in addition to his widow are four stepchildren, Danielle, wife of Elio Spadafora of Sellersville, George Messersmith of Pittston, Shanna Messersmith, and her fiancé, Jon Bowen, of Wilkes-Barre, and Donald Messersmith, and fiancée, Amy Derby, of Courtdale, Pa.; a brother Frank, and his wife, Rose, of Sliddell, La.; four sisters, Lois Kern in New Hampshire, Carrie Fisher of Winston-Salem, S.C., Nancy, wife of Manuel Decosta of Lehighton, and Barbara Morris of Westchester, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Matilda, Matthew, Brady, Isabelle, Abigail and Devin; and various nieces and nephews.
Service: Private funeral service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre.
