Jacqueline R. Urban, 56, of 340 W. Snyder Ave., Lansford, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at St. Luke's Miner Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. |
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Dolores (Katkocon) Urban.
She was a graduate of Tamaqua High School and graduated from Point Park College in Pittsburgh, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
She worked as a Case Manager for Behavior Health Associates in Weissport.
She was a member of the Tamaqua American Legion Auxiliary as well as other local Legion auxiliaries having held offices for over 40 years.
Jacqueline was the president of the Summit Hill Shuffle Alley League Association.
Surviving is a sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Bynon, of Coaldale; a companion, Lorraine Kofchock, of Lansford; best friend, Anna Marie Clemmer, of Lansford; nephews, Derrick Bynon, Robert Bynon, Joseph Bevins, Quentin Zwolensky, and Zachary Zwolensky; and several cousins.
Services: Memorial service on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at noon in the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, with the Rev. Ray Lewis Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, White Street, Summit Hill. Calling hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
