Mrs. Janet M. Eck|
Mrs. Janet M. Eck, 68, of New Ringgold, formerly of Perkiomenville, died Monday evening, Dec. 30, in the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven. She was the widow of Michael Eck, who died Oct. 8, 2013.
Prior to retiring, she was a machine operator for over 20 years for the Bally Ribbon Mills, Bally.
Born in Kulpmont, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Czajkowski) Krayeski.
She was of the Catholic faith.
A devoted housewife, she enjoyed spending time with family and traveling.
She was preceded in death by a brother John and his wife, Roseanne.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher, and his wife Tina, of Elbridge, N.Y., and Brian, and his wife Vicki, of Pennsburg; a daughter Constance, wife of Christopher Brown of New Ringgold; a brother Joseph, and his wife, Joanne, of Bonita Springs, Fla.; four sisters, Elaine, wife of Joe Harker of Elverson, Patricia, wife of Stanley Stefanowicz of Chilhowie, Va., Leona, wife of Jim Koch of Pottstown, and Helen, wife of Jack Bartman of Kimberton; six grandchildrean, two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Service: Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 W. Penn Pike, Rt. 309, New Ringgold, with Deacon Stanley J. Stefanowicz officiating. Private interment at convenience of family. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
