Lola E. Moeller Sword, 90, of East Broad Street, Tamaqua, formerly of Clamtown, died Thursday in her residence. She was the widow of George Moeller and Phil Sword.

Prior to retiring she had been employed in the garment industry, working for the former Purling Mills and Sue Frocks. Previously, she had been employed at the former Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds.
Born in Clamtown, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Mary (Blum) Lorah.
Surviving are a son, Phillip G. Moeller of Tamaqua; a daughter, Georgina I. Moeller Schwartz and her husband, Ronald, of Pfafftown, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Fritzinger and Mildred Frye; and a brother, John F. Lorah Jr.
