Mrs. Mary A. Minichiello|
Mrs. Mary A. "Marie" Minichiello, 76, of 117 W. White Bear Dr., Summit Hill, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Orlando "Jello" Minichiello, who passed away on July 21, 2008.
She worked in New Jersey as an electronic inspector.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Mary (Stahlnocker) Gatens.
She was a graduate of the former St. Ann High School, Lansford.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, where she was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the Rosary Group.
The deceased was a member of the Red Hat Society, the FYI Organization, Jim Thorpe, and the Jim Thorpe Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two sons, Robert C. "Farmer" Jones, and his wife, Jenelle, of Tamaqua, and Mark Minichiello, and his wife, Gisselle, of King George, Va.; three daughters, Sheryl, wife of Thomas Radocha, Cynthia, wife of Patrick Cleary, and Maria, wife of Frank DeMatto, all of Summit Hill; a sister Elizabeth, wife of Alex Horos of Jim Thorpe; 12 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, James Jr., Francis, Henry, William and Robert.
Service: Memorial Mass of Christian Burial noon Saturday, July 13, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, White Bear, Summit Hill.
