Mary L. Szpak, 86, of 819 N. First St., Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Friday, April 11, in the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.
Prior retiring, she was employed a sewing machine operator for the former Drumheller's Mills and later Scotty's Fashions, Lehighton.
Born in Packerton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Chernenski) Szpak.
She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton.
Surviving are a sister, Agnes C. of Lehighton; nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by three sisters, Ann Taptich, Barbara Hunadi and Stella Goral; and three brothers, Stanley, John and Charles.
Service: Prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, Fourth and Iron streets, Lehighton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in SS, Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, with the Rev. Michael E. Ahrensfield officiating.
