Michael Erik Kulp, 12, of Bark Drive, Walnutport, Lehigh Township, died suddenly on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 17, in Towamensing Township, after being involved in an ATV accident.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Michael H. and Tamara L. (Kent) Kulp.
He was a seventh grade student at St. John Neumann Regional School, Palmerton, where he was a member of the Dinner, Chess and Ski clubs and the Fine Arts and Drama Society.He enjoyed four-wheeling, hunting, skiing and playing "Minecraft" on the computer.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Mikell T., at home; paternal grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" (Welliver) Kulp of Cherryville; aunts and uncles, Kim, wife of Randy Szoke of Friedens, Lisa Keller of Fogelsville, Rick Jr. and Kathy Kulp of Lehigh Township; cousins and friends.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. Interment, private. Call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, St. John Neumann Regional School Gymnasium, 259 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. Arrangements by Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
