Mrs. Norma M. Troxell, 77, of Locust Lane, Andreas, died Monday, March 4, in the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville. She was the wife of Calvin J. Troxell. They were married for 55 years.

She was a homemaker, but had also worked for a time as a medical secretary.
Born in Kempton, she was a daughter of the late Cloyd Trexler and the late Mabel (Groff) Trexler.
She was a member of Ben Salem UCC, Lehighton, and its Women's Guild.
The deceased was a graduate of Kutztown High School and the Reading Business School.
An avid gardener, she was a former member of the West Penn and Pottsville Flower clubs and a member of Tri-County Women's Fersomling.
Surviving are a daughter, Kay L., wife of Dayton W. Ritter of Fogelsville; two sons, Leon C., and his wife, Sandy, and Galen J., and his wife, Sarah, both of Andreas; a sister Marie, wife of Stewart Stump of Kutztown; a sister-in-law, June Trexler; and 13 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Steward.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Rd., Lehighton, with the Rev. Michael McGowan officiating. Interment, church cemetery, Lehighton.
