Paul M. Hydro|
Paul M. Hydro, 62, of 239 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Monday, Jan. 20, in the Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of Linda (Herman) Hydro.
Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Paul and Stephanie (Malyniale) Hydro.
He was a graduate of the former Nesquehoning High School and then became a certified welder, working for General Dynamics, Groton, Conn., for many years until retiring and moving back to Nesquehoning.
He and his wife then started Hydro's Café, Nesquehoning, and have continued that business for the past 15 years.
Paul was of the Catholic faith, and belonged to the Nesquehoning American Legion.
He was active in the Moose Club when he lived in Groton.
Paul enjoyed watching football. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and just loved working at his business.
Surviving in addition to his widow are his in-laws, Allen and Emily Herman of Nesquehoning; a son Quinn and a daughter Chrissie, both of Lehighton; a stepson, Les Shull of Nesquehoning; a stepdaughter Belinda, wife of Richard Smith of North Pole, Alaska; a granddaughter and six stepgrandchildren.
Service: Funeral service will be private. Interment, St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Contributions in his name may be made to the
