Mrs. Regina A. "Jeanie" Bowers, 68, of Mine Street, Brockton, died Monday, Jan. 13, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of James D. Bowers. They were married for 43 years.
She had been employed by the former Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds, and more recently worked for Walmart.
Born in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Piller) Bubel.
She was of the Catholic faith and was a 1964 graduate of Tamaqua High School
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth A. "Beth," wife of Christopher Conville of Coaldale; a brother Robert, and his wife, Mary, of Brockton; three grandchildren, Candace, Kealey and Craig; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jamie Marie.
