Mrs. Veronica M. Andreas
Mrs. Veronica M. "Ronnie" Andreas, 83, of Allentown, formerly of Palmerton, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Working in the food service industry, she retired from B. Braun.
She previously was employed at various restaurants in the Lehigh Valley.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Andrew S. and Anna C. (Anglovich) Mermon.She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Allentown, the Allentown Senior Center, St. Mary Ukrainian Church senior group and the Palmerton Pistol Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda J., with whom she resided; her former husband, Richard C., and his wife, Jovonne R., of Palmerton; a brother Eugene, and his wife, Sylvia, and a sister-in-law, Josephine Mermon, both of the Mahoning Valley; nephews, nieces and her canine companion, Rocky.
She was also preceded in death by brother Andrew; a sister, Anna Reed; and a great-niece, Michelle Lusch.
Her sparkling personality will be missed by all!
Service: Panachida service 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 W. Linden St., Allentown; Divine Liturgy 10 a.m., St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, 156 W. Green St., Allentown. Interment, Gnaden Huetten Cemetery, Lehighton. Call 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:15-9:15 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Parastas service 7 p.m. Friday.
