Mrs. Margaret Mary Frisbie|
Mrs. Margaret Mary Frisbie, mother, and grandmother, 71, of North Lehigh Street, Tamaqua, died Sunday, Feb. 9, in her home and in the care of her daughters, having courageously battled cancer for the past year. She was the widow of Dennis J. Frisbie, who died Nov. 6, 2006.
She had been a beautician in Tamaqua and then retired from St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua, having worked there for a number of associated pastors.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late P. Hugh and Margaret (McGeehan) Mundy.
She was a 1960 graduate of Marian High School and a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She had been an active member of the C.W.E.A. of St. Jerome Regional School, having served as president.
Surviving are two daughters, Natalie M., wife of Douglas Bachert of Andreas, and Holly A., wife of Dr. Daniel Bobrowski of Pottsville; and two grandchildren, Brady and Hannah.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother Patrick.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb.13, St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua. Interment, parish cemetery, Tamaqua. Call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 8:45-9:30 a.m. Thursday, E.
