Mrs. Helen Louise Kain, 91, of Pottstown, formerly of Albrightsville, died Thursday, March 6, in the Pennsburg Manor, Pennsburg. She was the widow of Joseph Edward Kain Sr., who died in 1992.
She was a homemaker.
Born in Greensboro, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Daniel Duncan Lisenby and Anna Lorena Weaver.
She volunteered in various positions for the American Red Cross and was a Grey Lady.
She was a member of Temple United Methodist Church, Pottstown.
While residing in Albrightsville, she was active in the community as president of Mt. Pocahontas Property Owners Association and was actively involved in Effort United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, J. Edward Jr., and his wife, Helen, of Surprise, Ariz., William A., and his wife, Ruthann, of Pottstown, Daniel Charles, and his wife, Bernadette, of Lancaster, and Roger Weaver of West Conshohocken; a daughter Annalouise, wife of Cletus Campbell of Kresgeville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Service: A life celebration will be held at a later date. Interment at convenience of family, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements by Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, 955 N.
