Blaine C. Blose. 73, of Franklin Township, passed away on Monday, March 17, in his home, surrounded by his family.
He worked for various construction companies, was employed for 20 years by the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, and was most recently employed by Firelane Farms, Bethlehem, before retiring.Born in Union Hill, Franklin Township, he was a son of the late Mark and Catherine (Wright) Blose.
- He was the husband of the late Nancy C. (Ahner) Blose, who died in 2004.
He proudly served his country in the Strategic Air Command Division of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War Era, 1962-66.
Surviving are a daughter, Kimm M. Ahner, and her companion, Rod Steward, of Franklin Township; two sons, Michael R., and his companion, Kelly Wentz, with whom he resided, and Terry L. of Lehighton; a granddaughter Brittany; two great-grandsons, Brian and Jayce; six sisters, Katherine, wife of Richard Berlin, and Maryann, wife of Lamar Haupt, both of Lehighton, Joanne, wife of Charles Finney, and Brenda Drumheller, both of Reading, Janice, wife of Ron Hemerly of Jim Thorpe, and Loretta Wilmont of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Terry, who died in 1968.
