Mark W. Wanamaker, 62, of 70 S. Pine St., Hazleton, formerly of Lansford, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Shaw) Wanamaker.
Born in Patterson, N.J., he was a son of the late Arthur and Helen (Argott) Wanamaker.
He worked as a mechanic for many years.
Mark served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving, along with his wife, is a son, Scott Wanamaker of Hazleton; two daughters, Jacqueline Carrelli, and her husband Michael, of McAdoo, and Penny Wanamaker of Weatherly; a brother, Arthur Wanamaker, and his wife Linda, of Minersville; a sister, Paula Anthony, and her husband Dennis, of Lansford; two grandchildren, Maria Carrelli and Michael Carrelli.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark.
Service: Memorial service on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Meed's United Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
