Mrs. Marie Concilio|
Mrs. Marie Concilio, 74, formerly of Palmerton, died early Wednesday morning, April 9, in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mahoning Township. She was the wife of Joseph R. Concilio since June 11, 1960.
She was a cashier in the floral department of Kinsley's ShopRite Market, Brodheadsville, for 10 years before retiring in 2006.
The deceased was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.She enjoyed caring for her cats, refinishing antique furniture and needlepoint.
- She was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Emma (Schreiber) Con-igliaro.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Dr. Kathleen E., wife of John Affigne of Monroe, N.Y.; two sons, Michael S., and his husband, Alan Cook, of Dicklerville, N.J., and Edward A., and his fiancée, Robin Carey, of Kunkletown; seven grandchildren, Adrianna, Matthew, Keith, Jillian, Aidan and Lorraine; a son-in-law, Ralph Carbone of Gillette, N.J.; and a sister-in-law, Ann Mogavero of Jackson, N.J.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa M. Carbone, who died in 2002.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, with the Rev. William T. Campion officiating. Interment, parish's new cemetery, Palmerton. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, and 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Contributions in her name may be made to the Carbon Co.
