Mrs. Theresa Kost
Mrs. Theresa Kost, 96, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, died early Monday morning, April 14, in The Summit of the Blue Mountain Health System, Lehighton. She was the widow of Michael Kost Jr., who passed away in 2007.
She was a button holer for the former Ike George Manufacturing Company, Palmerton, for many years before retiring in 1979.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Kerezhon.
She was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton, where she volunteered for many hours for the church pierohy program.
The deceased was a member of the I.L.G.W.U.
Surviving are a daughter, MaryAnn Fritz of North Catasauqua; and a stepgrandson, John Fritz, and his wife, Linda, of Laurys Station.
Service: Divine Liturgy 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17, St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton, with the Rev. Evhen Moniuk officiating. Interment, parish's lower cemetery, Palmerton. Call 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Contributions in her name may be made to the memorial fund of the church, 106 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, Pa. 18071.
