Mrs. Mary A. Kuehner|
Mrs. Mary A. Kuehner, 95, a lifelong resident of Kunkletown, passed away on Sunday, June 15, in the Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. She was the loving wife of the late Adam Kuehner, who died in June, 2002.
She had owned and operated Kuehner's Dairy for many years until retiring in 1980.
Born in Kresgeville, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Agnes (Dugan) Borger.
She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville, and the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.
We are thankful for the blessings and the joy that Mary has shared with us. Her enthusiasm for life will remain with us forever.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Gene Kuehner, and his wife, Sharon, of Ready, W. Va., Janet, wife of Harvey Beers of Palmerton, and Gerald Kuehner, and his wife, Donna, and Randy Kuehner, and his wife, Penny, both of Kunkletown.
She was the loving grandmother to her 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Adam, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Strohl; a brother, Levi Borger; four sisters, Arlene Johnson, Edith Ginder, Mammie Smale and Maude Peppe; and a great-granddaughter.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville, with the Rev. Brian Holben officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday.
