Margaret M. Caffrey Paslawsky, 91, formerly of White Bear, Summit Hill, and Honesdale, currently of Gettysburg, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Genesis Health Care in Gettysburg. She was the wife of the late Paul Caffrey and the late Joseph Paslawsky.
Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late Miklos and Theresa Momrock.
She worked for the former Jo-Je Manufacturing Company in Summit Hill.
Margaret was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Roman Catholic Church in Lansford.
Surviving is a son, Richard Caffrey, and his wife Vickie, of Summit Hill; a daughter, Paula Hutta, and her husband Edward, of Gettysburg; grandchildren, Jennell Bennett, and her husband Joseph, of Rosenberg, Tex., and Jonathan Hutta, and his wife Dawn, of Knoxville, Md.; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Bennett, Dominic Bennett, Conor Hutta, and Skyler Gibbs; a niece, Mary Ann Szczecina, and her husband James, of Summit Hill; several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Momrock; and sisters, Rose Keiser and Theresa Ohl. Also, several stepbrothers and stepsisters.
Service: Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 11 a.m. in St. Katharine Drexel Roman Catholic Church, 124 E. Abbott St., Lansford. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Summit Hill. Calling hours are on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. in the church.
