Mrs. Anne L. Sprankle-Kocher, 66, of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, died suddenly on Monday morning, July 21, in the Blue Mountain Health System's Palmerton Campus. She was the wife of James E. Kocher.
She worked in the medical records department of the Palmerton Hospital for 33 years before retiring.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen D. and Anna J. (Kaplan) Duris.
She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.
The deceased was a 1966 graduate of Palmerton High School.
She was a loving wife, daughter, niece and homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband is an aunt, Frances Binder of Palmerton.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mar M.; and a brother Stephen.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, with the Rev. William T. Campion officiating, assisted by Deacon William P. Pitts. Interment, parish's old cemetery, Palmerton. Call 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
