Warner B. "Butch" Rodgers Jr.
Warner B. "Butch" Rodgers Jr., 46, of 795 Mahoning Drive East, Lehighton, passed into internal rest on Thursday, July 31, in Northampton County. He was the husband of Rochelle C. Ahner Rodgers. They were married 27 years, celebrating an anniversary June 27.
Born in Palmerton, he was the son of Warner and Diane A. (Rohlfing) Rodgers Sr., Lehighton. A very hard-working individual, he was employed by The Ahner Furniture Co., Mahoning Valley, where he worked as a customer service specialist and a delivery person.
He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mahoning Valley, and as an avid small and large game hunter and fisherman, he kept a membership at The Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. In his spare time he loved to coach the Cobra's Girls' Softball Team in the Franklin Township Girls' Softball League. He loved gardening, raising berries for his winemaking, and cherished time with his loving family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are two daughters, Amanda G. and Amber D., Lehighton; three sisters, Cindy, wife of James Albert, Lehighton, Cheryl, wife of Paul Peters, Palmerton, Brenda Rodgers and her life partner, Juatta Mueller, Lehighton; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronald and Ruthann Ahner Sr.; brother-in-law Ronald Ahner Jr.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Donald and Rhonda Edgar, Mahoning Valley; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Ryan "Bup" Ahner.
