Mrs. Bertha M. Delpero|
Mrs. Bertha Marie Delpero, 85, of Allentown, formerly of Lansford, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5, in her residence. She was the wife of Mario Delpero.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Alma (Bach) Abel.She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in 1950.
- She worked for the former Coaldale State General Hospital.
The deceased was a member of the former St. Ann Catholic Church, Lansford, and last attended the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown.
Surviving are two sons, Philip of Houston, Tex., and Daniel, and his wife, Tracy, of Allentown; a daughter MaryRose, wife of Wayne Trump of Lititz; seven grandchildren, Danielle Smith of Lehighton, Malorie Delpero of Eliot, Maine, Matthew Trump and David Trump, both of Lititz, Lisa Eposito of Fremont, N.H., Tina Peace of Lowell, Mass., and Devin Rodgers of Dracut, Mass.; and many great-grandchildren.
Service: Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill; Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford.
